- The general objective of the Convention is to provide adequate and successful provision of the work of the project of Freedom Square and the surrounding area, in accordance with their terms and specifications. The aim of the Municipality is to keep the site safe, functional, friendly to visitors, while ensuring full respect for the ancient monument and modern architectural work. The latter is very important for the municipality because this project is an excellent ornament for the city of Nicosia and must remain at the high level achieved by its construction.
