Description:
Directive (EU) 2023/970 to strengthen the implementation of the principle of equal pay between men and women for work of equal value or work of equal value, through wage transparency and enforcement mechanisms, the deadline for harmonization of which is 7 June 2026, aims to impose binding measures on employers to improve salary transparency, and encourage them to review their salary structures to ensure equal pay for women and men performing similar work, or work of equal value. The aim of the Convention is to draw up an assessment study of the impact - positive and negative - of the measures to transpose Directive (EU) 2023/970 into national law, where it will focus on employees and to employers with less than 250 employees.
