Description:
1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the provision of body repairs and repainting services of UN owned vehicles and equipment on ‘as and when- required basis..2. Below is an indicative list of the types of works required: • Vehicle body damage repairs.• Vehicle body repainting services.• Routine inspection, checking and rectifying minor problems. • Remove, repair and/or replace major or minor components in accordance with the equipment manufacturer-s specifications and recommendations.3. The Contractor shall have a valid Vehicle Technician License, as required to perform vehicle repair services in the Republic of Cyprus and must be located within the Nicosia District.4. Spare parts and consumables supplied by the Contractor as part of the services shall be original spare parts that carry standard dealer warranty.5. The resulting Contract shall be for an initial period of three (3) years, with an option to extend for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each. 6. In this regard, UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise.
