Description:
1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the Provision of Checks, Tests, Maintenance and Repair Services of UNFICYPs Fire Protection Systems, including all related spare parts.2. UNFICYPs fire protection systems are installed in various island-wide locations, and consist of 33x fire suppression systems, 3x computer server room suppression systems, 147x hardwire installed fire detection and alarm systems, 112x self-operational auto-fire extinguishers/units, 2x water leakage/flood detection systems and 97x emergency lighting units. 3. Services to be performed by the Contractor, include initial service/assessments, six monthly and annual maintenance services, the supply and installation of additional fire protection systems and also additional related works, as required by UNFICYP, including the provision of all related spare parts. The Contractor shall be able to respond to UNFICYPs emergency call out service requests, on a 24/7 basis, within 4-hours notice in cases of systems fault or damage failure. 4. The resulting contract shall be for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend for two (2) additional terms of one (1) year each. The estimated contract commencement is in September 2026. 5. Interested vendors shall have the opportunity to attend a site visit as part of the solicitation exercise. 6.
