- 1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the supply and delivery of ready-mixed concrete to UNFICYP on an “as and when required” basis. The supply and delivery of the ready mixed concrete shall be within the areas of 1) Xeros, 2) Famagusta, 3) Kato Pyrgos and Kokkina, 4) Dherynia, 5) Old Nicosia Airport, 6) Astromeritis and Kato Zodia, 7) Athienou, and 8) Pyla in Cyprus.2. UNFICYP shall place multiple orders during the contract period, and the delivery time required shall be within 72 hours upon placement of orders. UNFICYP is under no obligation to order any minimum quantities. Vendors may submit bids for one or more locations, or for all locations.3. The resulting contract shall be for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend for two (2) additional terms of one (1) year each. The Contract is anticipated to commence in October 2025.4. In this regard, UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested in participating in the competitive solicitation exercise.
